This is the 2TB "rosewood" model unfortunately it will bound to fail. search "Seagate rosewood".

Thank you Indian Digest, searching "Seagate backup plus slim specs/transfer speed" literally comes up with nothing but selling links and seagate's bullshit adverts with no real specifications.

I bought a Seagate two times already (never again). Transferring is very fast but, its USB connector becomes weary in less than a year and often disconnects even with just a slight movement. Sometimes it's also not readable when being connected to USB 3.0 and that is so annoying. Seagate should make a more tight connector or multiple contacts like the iPhone's lightning cable.
